If you have to put stuff in storage, but make sure it looks tidy. First impressions count for everything, so make sure your front and back garden look well kept. They don’t have to look like Kew gardens, but a tidy lawn can certainly help if you need a fast house sale.
Nobody knows your house better than you so if you can, be available for viewings. This way you can talk to buyers and also size them up. However, I must add that you should give buyers space to look around and be in the background, should they have any questions.
However, it doesn’t hurt to ask a couple of questions of your own just to ascertain if they are serious buyers. Questions like have you been looking long, what areas are you looking in and are you looking for any particular features, such as a garage, number of rooms, condition etc. This way you can see if your property matches their requirements.
